Doctor Córdova Nieto had finished his period as President of the Senate and his son, Dr. Gonzalo Córdova Galarza, had graduated with honors as an attorney, when they decided to settle in Quito and found the Law Firm. Some years later, Dr. Manuel Córdova Galarza (1933 - 1980) joined the Firm.

Among the principles that where and remain as the foundation of the Law Firm we have that of legal security, based on strict morals and ethics and on a severe study of the law, even from a philosophical perspective. These are the pillars upon which the Law Firm supports itself in its practice, in procuring that our client's legitimate aspirations and interests be dealt with utmost legal security and efficiency.

The Law Firm was kept deliberately small throughout the years, so as to maintain a practice of high standards and coherence. In recent years, however, lawyers of high human and professional condition have joined the Firm by invitation, providing the firm with a newer dimension, allowing it to cover with special solvency diverse legal matters, which transcends in a better, more complete service on behalf of our clients.
